Your Urology Appointment
When you meet with your Augusta Health urologist, you will have an opportunity to talk about your urologic history and the symptoms you are experiencing. Your urologist will most likely perform an examination to understand more about your urinary and reproductive health. After all information is gathered, your urologist will be prepared to talk with you about your diagnosis and discuss the available treatment options. If appropriate, your urologist will also talk with you about measures you can take to prevent urinary concerns in the future. Come prepared with questions and concerns. We recommend bringing a loved one, such as a friend or family member, as a second set of eyes and ears. If you have ever seen a urologist before, be sure to let us know when you schedule your appointment so we can retrieve those records ahead of time.
