Tests Unable to Run With Green Top Tubes

The Augusta Health main and outpatient labs collect their specimens in Herparinized Green Top tubes. Since the tubes are heparinized, some tests cannot be run on plasma. The tests that cannot be run are:

3. Prostate Specific Antigen (PSAG)
4. PSAG Free
5. Parathyroid Hormone (PTH)
6. CPEP
7. Insulin
8. H. Pylori
9. Erythropoietin (EPO)
10. Hepatitis Testing
11. Beta-2-Microglobulin (B2MG)
12. Rubella
13. Rubeola
14. ANA
15. Varicella
16. Mumps
