Hospitalists

Providing around-the-clock care during your stay.

Hospitalists are physicians who devote their practice to caring for hospitalized patients. Patients are typically referred by primary care providers, Emergency Department doctors, or other physicians at the hospital. We provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including holidays).

Your Hospitalist:

- Works at the hospital exclusively to provide care for you and attend to any emergencies
- May consult specialists and other doctors about your care
- Will make arrangements for any prescriptions needed after discharge
- Prepares a detailed report of findings and treatment plans for your primary care providers

Pediatric Hospitalists

Our team includes physicians board-certified in internal medicine or family practice and physician assistants and nurse practitioners specially trained in hospital medicine.

After Discharge

Follow up with your primary care provider or other doctors soon after discharge. If you do not have a primary care provider, the hospitalist or other staff can provide you with options, or you can search our directory
