Volunteer Training Information

We offer volunteer training 3-4 times per year at various times and all classes are held in the Community Care Building on campus at Augusta Health. We do have an online option for those not able to make all in-person classes. Topics covered are:

• Volunteer Opportunities & Requirements
• Psychosocial Issues & Family Dynamics
• Volunteer Boundaries
• Medical Aspects of Terminal Illness & Care & Infection Control
• Active Listening & Diversity
• Volunteer Documentation & Compliance
