Pickleball Trial

- Court Usage Fees
- Universal & Student Racquet Member tennis-playing visit: No Fee
- Non-Universal Member tennis-playing visit: $10
- Non-Member tennis-playing visit: $20
- Court Reservation Rules
- A court reservation is required for all use of the tennis courts.
- Call 540-332-5433 or 540-932-5433 during any operational hours to make a reservation
- Court reservations may be made no earlier than 7 days prior to the requested playing date
- Only two reservations may be made at a time in your name in a 7-day period
- A member may not use another member’s name to schedule a reservation
- Reservations may be made in 1 hour, 1.5 hour, or 2 hour allotments (1 hour only for ball machine and ball machine is for indoor use only)
- Courts may only be reserved on the hour or half-hour
- Extra playing time may be taken at the end of your time, provided the court is not scheduled behind you
- Court reservations may not be made that interfere with clinics, leagues, lessons, tournaments, contract time, or special events
- Outdoor court reservations that are unable to be kept due to inclement weather conditions will not automatically roll over onto the indoor courts
- Playing groups may not hold both an indoor and outdoor court reservation at the same time to “guarantee play,” if you wish to play outside you should schedule only an outdoor court
- Cancellation of a reservation must be made with a four-hour notice of the scheduled playing time; a $20 cancellation fee will be charged to the person that holds the reservation if canceled inside of the four-hour window.
- Courts are to be used for the purpose of playing tennis only
- Player Expectations
- All players must check-in at the front desk to confirm before entering the court for play, players playing on the outdoor courts may call in (332-5433) to check in before play
- Members that have Non-Universal Memberships and Non-Member Guests playing with them must make sure that those players check in at the front desk to pay the appropriate fees and fill out the guest waiver prior to taking the court, sneaking players into the facility will not be tolerated
- Non-marking soled tennis-specific shoes must be worn on indoor courts
- Court-appropriate (non-cleated, or heavy treaded) tennis-specific shoes must be worn on outdoor courts
- Food is not permitted on courts
- Courts should be left in a neat and tidy fashion for the next playing group with all balls picked up, towels removed, trash placed in the trash can, and scorekeepers reset 0 – 0
- Outdoor courts should be brushed (entirely) and lined when finished play
- Abusive language or actions will not be tolerated, offenders will be asked to leave
- Players should leave the court promptly at the end of their scheduled time unless the court is unscheduled following your reservation
- Courts may not be utilized for instruction or what may look like instruction that is not led by Augusta Health Fitness Staff
- Only Certified Service Animals are permitted inside the facility or courtside on the outdoor courts
