Member Services
We invite you to drop by Membership Services to take a tour and get more information on all that Augusta Health Fitness has to offer.
Membership Changes
Please remember that any changes to your membership account require a 30 day written notice. We process billing on the 1st of each month, so any changes must be received by the 1st of the month prior. For instance, if you would like to freeze your account beginning on March 1st, please visit Membership Services to fill out the appropriate paperwork by Feb 1st. Thank you.
Membership Freeze
Members are sometimes unable to use their membership for various reasons, so you may freeze your account for 1-3 consecutive months on these terms:
- The cost is $10 per member; however, no membership dues are charged during the freeze.
- Freezes are for whole calendar months (for example, January 1-31). You can’t freeze from May 15 to June 15, or from October 1-10.
- Only one freeze per year per membership is permitted.
- If it’s within the first year of the contract, the obligation to fulfill the full 12 months still exists. For example, a two-month freeze will extend the original renewal date by two months.
- A freeze requires 30 days notice. See Membership Services to complete the necessary paperwork.
Medical Hold
If you’re unable to use the Fitness Center due to an upcoming surgery or other medical condition, you may place your account on medical hold under these terms:
- Furnish a note from your physician indicating the reason your account must be placed on hold. The duration of the hold can be as long as needed.
- There is no charge for a medical hold.
- If it’s within the first year of the contract, the obligation to fulfill the full 12 months still exists. For example, a two-month freeze will extend the original renewal date by two months.
- To end the hold, you must furnish a physician’s note clearing you to exercise again.
- Medical holds require 30 days notice. See Membership Services to complete the necessary paperwork.
