    During PA school I was involved with several outreach activities, including speaking with pre-healthcare students at Roanoke College concerning the PA profession, assisting with the local homelessness assistance team in their biannual surveys, helping organize fundraising events with local businesses, donating the proceeds to charities. Prior to beginning a career in medicine I was a high school science teacher.

  • Why do you practice medicine?

    I practice medicine in order to help my patients live their happiest, healthiest, most fulfilling life. My goal is to consider this in every medical decision I make. I have always enjoyed helping and educating people. I've been able to combine that with a love of science in the field of medicine, and it has been a great fit.
