Why do you practice medicine?

I was inspired to grow my career in a practitioner role due to some amazing providers I have worked with in the past as a RN. They helped me to realize I can help people in the family practice setting to provide education and care to help prevent illness or events that would put them in the Emergency Room using the most up to date information available.
What are your areas of clinical interest and expertise?

My clinical interests are Pediatrics and Women's Health. I do enjoy primary care and getting to know patients in the community I serve.
What are your hobbies? What do you do for fun?

Outside of work, I love to read any genre of books, I take my kindle everywhere. I enjoy going out on the lake and fishing with my husband. I have 3 kids and 4 dogs that we enjoy taking to the river to spend time with friends and family.
Where is your favorite vacation destination?

I love the beach and traveling to the Caribbean. The Outer Banks is my favorite beach destination. I have also been to Aruba and plan to travel to other Caribbean Islands in the future.
