Will Augusta Health accept my health insurance?

How will I know what my out-of-pocket expense will be for my delivery at Augusta Health? 

Augusta Health Financial Advocates can provide estimates for your delivery by calling (540) 332-4600, option 4.

Does Augusta Health’s financial assistance also help patients with insurance? 

Yes, Augusta Health’s financial assistance program can be used as a secondary relief to your insurance coverage to aid in covering your out-of-pocket expenses like deductibles, coinsurance, and copays.

If I am approved, will financial assistance help with both the hospital and the provider’s office services? 

Yes.  Augusta Health has a combined financial assistance process that covers all services provided by Augusta Health, and it’s affiliates, which includes all providers within Augusta Medical Group.

How do I apply for Augusta Health’s financial assistance?

Does Augusta Health offer discounts for patients who do not have insurance and do not qualify for financial assistance? 

Yes.  Augusta Health’s uninsured adjustment is currently 50% off charges for hospital-related services, and 35% off charges for provider-related services.
