AUGUSTA HEALTH ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF MARGARET FLATHER, MD

FISHERSVILLE, VIRGINIA —Augusta Health is pleased to announce that Margaret Flather, MD, will join the Center for Women’s Health on June 30, 2025.

“Welcoming Dr. Flather to our team reflects our continued commitment to providing compassionate, comprehensive women’s healthcare,” said Kris Doan, President of Augusta Medical Group. “Dr. Flather has been a valued provider in our community for many years, and we are excited to welcome her skills and expertise into our growing Women’s Health Services in Augusta Medical Group.”

Patients at the Center for Women’s Health will continue to receive exceptional gynecologic care from Dr. Flather along with access to the advanced resources of Augusta Health, including support from the Mayo Clinical Care Network, care from Augusta Health’s outstanding nursing team, and access to Augusta Health’s Outpatient Pavilion.

Dr. Flather will continue to see patients at her current office in Augusta Health’s Medical Office Building until June 27, 2025. On June 30, she will transition to the Center for Women’s Health at 39 Beam Lane in Fishersville.
