Augusta Health and Anthem Renew Partnership

Augusta Health has secured a new multi-year contract with Anthem, keeping the insurance provider in-network for patients. Anthem is the most common commercial insurance provider among Augusta Health’s patients, handling over a third of their insurance claims.

Katie Adams, Augusta Health’s chief revenue officer, emphasized the importance of this agreement in maintaining accessible and affordable healthcare. Medical debt remains a major burden for many Americans, with 17% reporting financial barriers to care, particularly among lower-income individuals.

Augusta Health also offers programs to help patients manage copays and other financial challenges, ensuring that essential healthcare services remain within reach. This renewed partnership aims to provide stability and financial relief for patients who rely on Anthem for coverage.
