Addition of Rockingham Family Physicians expands Augusta Medical Group in Harrisonburg

FISHERSVILLE, VIRGINIA—Augusta Health is excited to announce that Rockingham Family Physicians in Harrisonburg will join Augusta Medical Group on September 1. This new addition will mark Augusta Health’s second location in Harrisonburg and reflects Augusta Health’s ongoing efforts to expand access to high-quality healthcare services while upholding the exceptional standard of care and service that patients have come to expect.

Primary Care plays a crucial role in the healthcare system as primary care providers are often the first point of contact for many patients seeking healthcare services. The medical practice will continue operating at its address, 1751 Erickson Avenue, Harrisonburg. Current patients can expect to receive care from Doctors Kerry Leichty, M.D., Stephen Godshall, M.D., and John Witman, M.D.

Over the past few years, Augusta Medical Group has increased its primary care services by opening offices in Buena Vista, Harrisonburg, and Maury River. Additionally, the Neighborhood Clinics are now in 14 locations.
