Augusta Health presents its new logo
Date: July 1, 2021
Categories: Press Release
Augusta Health is excited to present its new logo to the community. Designed by the internal creative staff, it will replace the logo that has been in use for the past 12 years. The physical transition of signage, website and documents will occur gradually over the next several months.
The designers created the new logo to be a better reflection of Augusta Health’s mission and values to keep people at the center of all it does, its place in a growing community, and its home in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The font selected is a humanist font, Freight, developed by the first African-American typeface designer, Joshua Darden, and is known for being easy to read.
Augusta Health is an independent, community-owned, not-for-profit hospital whose mission is to promote the health and well-being of its community through access to excellent care. Over the years, Augusta Health has been recognized by many external rating organizations: 100 Top Hospitals in America, HealthGrades’ America’s 50 Best Hospitals, US News and World Report Best Regional Hospital, and most recently Leapfrog Top Hospital 2020.
